Special Announcement

The 1st place qualifier winners of WOD Toronto will be invited to participate in our WOD LIVE Toronto event on October 28th, 2017. Winners will perform their winning piece in our matinee (2PM) and evening (7PM) showcase along with our World of Dance NBC talent headliners. More information will be provided to winners immediately following competition.

COMPETITION TEAM ENTRIES

Junior and Team Division Competing Groups

1st Place Teams Win and Opportunity to Perform at WOD LIVE

Junior - Any act with all ages 18 or under including solos, duets, trios, and groups.

Upper - Groups must have 4 registered dancers or less.

(Upper Division is for groups, solos, duets, and/or trios ages 18 and over. )

Team - Groups must have a minimum number of 5 registered dancers.

( Team Division is for adults, college students, and professional dancers but is open
for all ages.)
( Groups can be comprised of dancers who are of mixed ages over & under 18.)

Showcase Entries

• Junior Showcase
o Any act with ages 18 or under including solos, duets, trios, and groups.

• Team Showcase
o Groups must have a minimum number of 5 registered dancers.
o Team Showcase is for adults, college students, and professional dancers but is
open for all ages.
o Groups are comprised of dancers who are of mixed ages over & under 18.

• Upper Showcase
o Groups must have 4 registered dancers or less.
o Upper Showcase is for groups, solos, duets, and/or trios ages 18 and over.

**The deadline to turn in registration and payment is 15 days prior to the World of Dance event date. Failure to comply will result in removal from the show.

*** All Directors are responsible for their personal registration fees

EXHIBITION TEAM/PERFORMER ENTRIES

Exhibition acts are reserved for headliner talent and professional dance teams only. An extensive résumé and higher skill level is required to apply for these performance acts.

**Exhibition Team/Performer Registration Fee: $40.00 per dancer

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

AUDITION VIDEO

The audition may be of the dance team/performer's most recent performance.
When submitting the video, please keep in mind that it should showcase the dance team/performer's best abilities.
Dance class footage does not qualify as an audition video.

Once a team/performer has submitted an audition video, the World of Dance Tour Team will begin the audition process by evaluating the videos. The primary contact for each dance team will be notified whether or not their team/performer has been accepted to compete/perform at the World of Dance event they have auditioned for.

**All submissions are due 45 days prior to the World of Dance event date of choice. Submissions will not be accepted anytime after that.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

By filling out this form you are submitting your team/performer to be considered to be added into the event lineup. This does not guarantee participation into our event, so please fill out as much information as possible to help our decision in accepting your team.
